The story's totally different from Fate, but you'll get why "mage" and "witch" mean different things here — it's worth watching either way.

I'm 100% seeing this. I waited since high school for the original PC release, and my whole life changed in the years since waiting for an anime adaptation — every bit of that is riding on this.

Part 1 probably ends at the abandoned amusement park. Either way I'm way too hyped for the fight scene animation there — it's ufotable, so I have zero worries. How many more years until we get Soujuurou vs. Beo, though? And will the movie even use the Gymnopédie music?

Having a series I love get adapted in high quality by ufotable is genuinely a blessing 🙏 When you think about it, ufotable's now animated 3 out of the 4 major Nasuverse works — that's insane. Glad to be a Type-Moon fan. Now give us the Tsukihime anime too!
