They were also making Tonsuki, Ranma, Bucchigiri, Hell's Paradise, Lazarus, Zenshu, Rose of Versailles, and Inazuma Eleven around the same period. MAPPA has 10+ production teams so they could cover it, but it must have been brutal back then.

First thing I have to say is the visuals are gorgeous. Part 1 deliberately roughed up the linework, so it felt murky and grimy, but this time the art is clean and the color palette is much brighter — it was genuinely easy on the eyes.
まず言いたいのが映像が美しすぎる。前編はあえて作画崩す故にドロドロとした印象だったけど今回は作画も整ってて色彩がかなり明るい印象で映像としてかなり見やすかった
