What this site is

“Overseas Reactions” curates and translates into Japanese how overseas fans react to buzzing videos and threads about anime, manga, and games on YouTube (official PVs, key scenes) and on forums like Reddit.

Our goal is to let Japanese fans enjoy the overseas buzz even without reading English. We excerpt and translate local comments and always link back to the source.

Editorial policy

We select videos and threads based on measured signals (comment counts, like/upvote counts) combined with editorial review. For each digest we hand-pick the comments that drew the strongest response, and always present the original text alongside the Japanese translation.

All like and comment counts shown are real figures as of the time of retrieval. We never inflate numbers or invent comments. Translations favor natural nuance, and the side-by-side originals let readers verify everything themselves.

Headlines, introductions, and contextual notes are written by our editors, adding the background — source-material progress, past seasons, how a title has been received overseas — that the comments alone would not convey.
