TV anime Yomi no Tsugai dropped the main PV for its second cour, confirming a back-to-back continuation starting July 4, and Japanese fans in the comments are treating it as the moment the show finally shows its true face. The recurring theme is relief and gratitude that there's no long gap between cours, mixed with manga readers warning anime-only viewers that the story is about to accelerate hard from here — one commenter says they bought every collected volume after this exact stretch of the story hooked them. Alongside that, fans dig into the PV itself: praise for creator Yoshiko Arakawa's plotting, a running joke about a mysterious new character's punny name, and voice-actor shout-outs for how the new OP syncs a gunshot "click" with the opening beat. It all lands on a comment that finds an unexpectedly perfect anime comparison for where this character's arc seems headed.
