Mii-chan and Yamada-san's Final Chapter Splits Japanese Readers Over Its Ending

The manga Mii-chan and Yamada-san has wrapped up, and a Japanese reaction-compilation video collecting reader response to the final chapter doesn't mince words about it — the video's own title calls it a bad ending. Posted August 16, the clip has pulled in 5,091 likes and 536 comments, and most of that traffic is people arguing over whether "bad ending" is even the right label, or whether an eight-year, six-volume run that closes on an ambiguous note actually counts as a win. The debate never fully resolves — but by the end of the comment section, a running joke about the ending's tone has taken over.
