BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War's newest episode has the Hueco Mundo faction — Grimmjow, Nelliel, Harribel and the rest of the anime-original alliance — openly outgunned, and a Japanese reaction video built around the line "Hueco Mundo is at a disadvantage" pulls in a flood of comments arguing about why, and who could still turn it around. Across 279 comments, the top comment (268 likes) doesn't even talk tactics — it mourns how the manga wrote off three former Espada, Coyote Starrk, Ulquiorra and Yammy, calling their deaths a waste of potential the anime's current predicament is now feeling. From there the thread splits into two currents: readers picking apart whether Grimmjow's crew can actually win as-is, and readers naming exactly who they want to see brought back to fix it. Editor's note: BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War's final cour has been expanding on Kubo's original manga with anime-original scenes pairing surviving Espada together in fights that never happened on the page — a choice several commenters here credit for making the current arc feel like an improvement rather than filler.
