MYTH & ROID

Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2: Second Trailer Drops After a 9-Year Wait

Nine years after the original TV anime ended, KADOKAWA dropped the second main trailer for Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 ahead of its July 8, 2026 premiere, and Japanese fans flooded the comments with disbelief that the wait was finally over. The recurring threads were nostalgia for the returning veteran voice cast and theme song artists (MYTH & ROID and Aoi Yuki are both back), grim real-world parallels to the trailer's Eastern Front imagery, and one widow's comment about watching for her late husband that resonated with over a hundred replies. Even Tanya's own thumbnail got roasted for looking utterly heartless.
