I've been really enjoying the manga, so I'm genuinely happy season 2 got greenlit.

'Servants are family' was the protagonist's own stance back in season 1 — that's exactly why Kiel leads servants who had nowhere else to go even without money. This show packs in details like that, and that's why it's good.

Wasn't expecting much since it's a 'naro-kei' isekai, but the family love in the serf arc was genuinely good ^_^ Got happy when I realized Mihai was voiced by Chiba, then his performance felt so ill-fated that I thought 'no way' — and sure enough, he was written out.

At the end, the ending theme starts playing right in the middle of Kiel and Allen's conversation, the credits roll, Kiel's tears show up, and the fact that he's joined the group makes you cry right along with him — and it all lands the second the episode ends! Perfect. Normally the ending sequence goes hero army, then sword-saint army, then elf army, then garbage-gamer army, in that order — but this time, right as the story resolves, they skipped two armies and jumped straight to the garbage-gamer army to line it up exactly with the moment... I thought that was amazing. Seriously, this anime is amazing.
最後、キールとアレンの会話中にエンディングが流れ、テロップが流れ、キールの涙、仲間になった事で、こちらを泣かせて、エンディング！！完璧やん。
そのエンディングは、通常は勇者や剣聖軍、エルフ軍、廃ゲーマー軍順に流れるが、今回は話が決着した所で2つの軍を飛ばして、廃ゲーマー軍から流してきっちり合わせるって・・・すげーって思った。
ホント、このアニメすごいよ。
