Re:Zero Fans Measure Up Against the Cast's Official Heights — Then One Entry Breaks the Chart

A Re:Zero fan channel built a height chart lining up the cast's official listed heights, and the video's comments turn into an impromptu game of finding your anime twin. Across 268 comments, viewers measure themselves against everyone from Subaru to Wilhelm — and the chart saves its biggest number for last.

Matches range from flattering (Reinhard, Wilhelm) to humbling (a character viewers keep nicknaming “Sub-Flea”), with a few surprises along the way — nobody expected Otto Suwen to come in several centimeters taller than Subaru.

By the end, the actual heights stop mattering. Everyone's too busy reacting to the one entry sitting at four meters tall.

A Re:Zero-focused clip channel put together a chart lining up the entire cast by their official listed heights, side by side, so viewers could scroll down and measure themselves against it in the replies. What starts as a simple find-your-anime-twin bit in the 268-comment section slowly turns into a running joke about who got the flattering match and who didn't, commenters comparing notes on which name lines up with their own number on the tape measure — before the whole thing ends on a reveal nobody in the replies saw coming.

I'm 173cm and figured Subaru would be my closest match... nope, turns out it's a dead-on match with Regulus instead. Ugh.

Not everyone gets a heroic match, either. One recurring bit in the replies is a character viewers keep calling “Sub-Flea,” apparently sitting near the very bottom of the whole chart — which turns simply beating that entry into its own small badge of honor for anyone taller, no matter how short they actually are.

So I'm taller than “Sub-Flea” but shorter than Otto. Just glad I beat “Sub-Flea,” at least.

Otto Suwen trips up more assumptions than anyone else on the chart, too. He's not exactly a background character at this point, but several commenters had filed him away as roughly Subaru's height without ever checking — and the actual number turns out to be a genuine gap, not a rounding error.

I can't unsee Otto's hat as doing some serious height padding...

Surprised Otto's actually this tall — figured he'd be about the same height as Subaru.

Otto being on the taller side was a surprise too — I assumed he and Subaru were roughly the same. A 5cm gap is actually pretty significant, huh.

Further up the chart, matching a legendary swordsman comes with its own kind of pressure — the kind where the number lines up perfectly but nothing else about the resemblance does.

Being the same height as old man Wilhelm feels almost disrespectful. I'd assumed he was in the low 180s, so this was a real surprise.

I'm the same height as old man Wilhelm, so why does the mirror show zero percent of his coolness?

Other matches land somewhere between quiet pride and shrugging acceptance, depending entirely on which name the chart happens to line up with your own number — a knight gets a shrug, but a sword saint apparently earns bragging rights on the spot.

All of that build-up, though, is just setup for the number waiting at the very top of the chart — the one entry the video was clearly saving for last, because nothing else on the list prepares you for it.

Thought “oh, same as Garfiel,” and then something absolutely ridiculous showed up at the very end and I lost it.

Ohh... so Gorgeous Tiger really is the biggest one on the whole chart, lol.

By the time the reveal lands, nobody's still talking about their own height — they're all just saluting whoever, or whatever, that four-meter entry actually is, and the whole comment section quietly agrees the chart earned its last line.
