The official finale trailer for Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You is out, and it's less a preview than a eulogy. Across 307 comments on the Asmik Ace channel, Japanese viewers aren't hyping the last episode so much as mourning that it's already here — the top comment (608 likes) opens with "ugh... the healing is about to end" before immediately demanding a second season. What follows is a genuinely charming flood of loyalty: fans promising to buy the manga and the Blu-rays specifically because that's what actually convinces a production committee to greenlight more episodes, alongside a running debate over why a show this loved isn't a bigger hit. By the time the thread gets to the jokes about outliving Sazae-san, nobody's really talking about the finale anymore.
