Across 160 comments, One Piece anime episode 1168 revealed that Shamrock's sword holds the Kerberos zoan devil fruit, and Japanese fans immediately zeroed in on what it does to a long-running fan theory: that Blackbeard secretly ate the Kerberos fruit himself. The top reaction (601 likes) says it outright — the anime staff clearly timed this reveal to kill that theory once and for all, since a three-headed dog now living inside someone else's sword makes the "Blackbeard is Kerberos" idea structurally impossible. From there the thread splits into two running debates: whether the ability itself (heads flying off the sword to stab things) is a disappointingly plain way to debut a mythical zoan, and the bigger mystery nobody can crack — how do you even feed a devil fruit to an inanimate sword in the first place. It closes on fans just laughing at how silly the whole spinning-collar mechanic looks in motion.
