  The memory surpressing trauma is very on point. Remember that after this nightmare, Brook would embark a 50+ years life in solitary, where everyday he tries to keep his sanity to accept the reality of his dead crew. Sometimes even hard to distinguish dream and reality. Then, suddenly those memories came back to live and appear in front of Brook's eye sockets, along with the context revelation of domi-reversi, trying to make him believe once more. Urgh, I couldnt even imagine how a real life person could get through these mental and logical tortures without turning into vegetable.

  ブルック＝ルーヴェンの回想がハラルドと繋がってる作り、マジで大好き： ルーヴェンもハラルドも、どっちも善悪グレーなキャラ ルーヴェンはシュリのために開戦を決めて、部下を犠牲にする覚悟だった。逆にハラルドは戦いたくなくて、自国を守ることを最優先にした 2人とも最終的にその選択は間違ってた 2人とも我が子に殺された シュリはルーヴェンの実の娘じゃないのに愛情を注がれた。逆にロキはハラルドの実の息子なのに、十分に構ってもらえなかった シュリは操られてルーヴェンを殺し、自分が何をしてるか分かってなかった。逆にハラルドはイムに操られてて、自らロキに引導を渡してほしいと願った、等々 尾田っち、とんでもなく作り込んでるわ！！

  I absolutely love how the brook -leuven flashback is connected to harald: both leuven and harald are morally gray characters leuven decided to declare war for shuri and was willing to sacrifice his men, wheras harald did NOT want to fight and hold his country on top priority Both where ultimatly wrong in their decisions Both where killed by their children Shuri was not the daughter of leuven but was treated with love, wheras loki was the son of harald but did not get enough attention Shuri killed leuven under possession and did not know what she was doing, wheras harald was the one who was controlled by imu and wanted loki to end him, etc Oda cooked hard man!!

  まだ頭の回るワンピ読者が残ってて嬉しいわ。 付け加えると、これで尾田っちは『民が死ぬとしても戦うべきだった、全部賭けるべきだった』論争にも完全に決着をつけた。ブルックの故郷がどうなったか見りゃ分かるだろ。 ただ、この2つのケースはどっちも“孤立してた”のがミソ。ハラルドはロックスがいたのに手を組むのを拒んで、ただでさえ強すぎる自分の船員だけで戦って、それでも足りなかった。 もしロックスにハラルドの助けがあったら絶対に負けてなかった。 もしルーヴェンが一人で背負い込まずに仲間を集めてたら、みんな生き延びてた。 結局、まったく同じコインの裏表なんだよ

  Glad to know we still have Op fans with brains. I would like to add that with this, Oda also firmly killed any talks of “should’ve gone to war even though your people might die, should’ve risked it all” because look at what happened with Brook’s hometown. But in both of these cases, they were alone. Harald had Rocks but refused to join him leaving him only with his already OP AF crew but they weren’t enough. If Rocks had Harald helping him he would have never lost. If Leuven didn’t try to shoulder this alone and tried to get allies they would have survived. In the end, both sides of the exact same coin.

  ジェイ、ひどい交通事故で金属パイプや手すりが頭蓋を貫通しても助かった人間は実在するんだよ。シュリがわざと生かしたのは明白だろ。ただ、数十年前の傷なのに未だに頭蓋にヒビが残ってる（普通なら本人が実際に死ぬ頃にはとっくに治ってるはず）って文句なら、それはまっとうなキレどころだわ

  Jay, people have survived metal pipes and railings through the skull from horrible car crashes. I think it's pretty obvious that Shuri let him live intentionally. Now if you wanna complain that he still has a skull crack from a decades old wound that should have already healed by the time he actually died, because they always heal, that's a valid crash out.

  これワンピだぞ、キャラが頭に剣ぶっ刺されて生き延びてても俺はもう一切気にしない。空島以降、この手のことを真剣に考えるのはやめたわ

  This is One Piece, if a character survives a sword to the head, I don't even think twice about it. I stopped taking this kinda stuff too seriously after Skypiea.

  正直、生身のルフィがイムを流血させたのはそこまで異常じゃない。だってそいつは2アーク前にハイブリッド形態のカイドウを流血させてた、あの生身のルフィと同一人物だぞ

  Honestly base Luffy making Imu bleed isn't that crazy considering that thats the same base Luffy that was making hybrid Kaido bleed 2 arcs ago

  だな。しかもカイドウ戦が示した通り、パンチで相手を流血させたからって、その直後に地獄みたいな反撃を食らわないとは限らない。イムもベラベラ喋ってる隙を突かれただけだしな

  Yeah. Also, as his fight with Kaido has shown, him making someone bleed with his punch doesn't mean that he is not about to receive a diabolical beating right after. Imu was also caught off guard while yapping.

  This is when power scalers ruin the story for themselves. Everyone stop looking to deep into that punch. It’s very Luffy fashion to deck the villain in the face without warning or words, it’s a hilarious gag and it was aura farming for Luffy. Imu beat Nika TWICE !!! Everyone chill.
