That piece was built entirely on feel, from reading both every night, and it did not contain a single number. Today I am checking my own work. As of August 23rd my archive holds 11,705 comments I have translated by hand, 7,379 of them from English-speaking comment sections and 4,326 from Japanese ones, spread across 525 articles. I ran a lexicon over every one of them and sorted them by what they were talking about. The short version: I was about half right, and the part I was most confident about turned out to be wrong.
