  そうだよな、素直に『ニワトリ』って言えばいいのに。背景にいつも明けの明星を背負ってたり、目から光が出てたりするのは、テーマ的にはちゃんと筋が通ってる。ヒヨコは日の出の時に鳴くだろ、答えはもう目の前にあったんだよ

  Yeah idk know why he didn’t just say that it’s a chicken. Hell it makes sense thematically as he’s always shown with a morning star behind him or coming from his eyes. Chicks make a noise during the rising sun . It’s kinda right in your face

  力の受け継ぎ方を考えると、あの能力群は始祖たちが動き出す前の混沌とした世界に存在した、常軌を逸した強さと現実改変級の存在たちのショーケースなんだよな。霊王もその一人だし。個人的にはバロの冷徹なスナイパー気質が一番好きな要素。死神たちもあんな相手と当たったことは今までなかったはずだ

  Given how they received their power, the powers and abilities are a showcase of the kind of unbelievably powerful and reality bending entities that randomly popped up in the chaotic world before the ancestor's made their moves. The Spirit King of course being one. That said Barro's cold sniper element is my favorite aspect of his character, the Shinigami have certainly not encountered such opposition before.

  The sternritters were Yhwach's personified revenge against the soul reapers for the brutal and humiliating defeat 1000yrs ago. The Quincy king came to the realization that he had to gear up if he wanted to reach the linchpin. So Yhwach sought to create a army absurdly powerful and to mock the shinigami

  気づいた人いるか分からないけど、吹替版だと狙撃シーンでイサネが撃たれた瞬間、画面外でセンタロウが叫んでるのが聞こえるんだよ。本当の狙いはセンタロウの方で、イサネが射線に入るのを待って一石二鳥を狙ってた。仕事が早い上に殺しにくい男だ

  I don’t know if anyone noticed this, but in the dub version of the sniping scene, you can hear Sentaro scream offscreen when Isane is shot. Sentaro was his true target but he waited until Isane lined up with the shot to hit two at once. He’s as efficient as he is hard to kill.

  スピンオフの『CFYOW』では、リルガの残骸を処理するのに数日かかったって描写があったよな。ナレーションで『リルガのフラミンゴたちは、ゲルハルトやハッシュヴァルトを消したのと同じアウスヴェーレンに吸収された』って一言言えばよかったのに

  In CFYOW it was mentioned, it took several days to get rid of the Lillie fragments. This was a convenient way to keep the soul reapers busy. The narrator could have just said, the Lillie flamingos were absorbed by the same Auswahlen that offed Gerard and Haschwalth.

  リルガ本人（というか、もうリルガと呼べるか怪しい残骸）が、自分の中のユーハバッハの力はもう無くなったってほのめかしてたし、だからアウスヴェーレンの影響をもう受けないってのは筋が通る

  lille himself (or his remnants wich could be argued whehter they are no longer lille or not) makes an implication that the part of ywach within him is gone, so it would make sense that the Auswahlen wouldnt affect him anymore

  ユーハバッハの力がウイルスみたいに働くって発想、俺は結構好きだな。触れて死ねば自分に取り込まれるし、生き延びれば徐々に自分の力の器へと変異していく。あの男に触れたら、もう『普通』ではいられないんだよ

  I do like the idea of yhwach's power acting like a virus of sorts. If you die from being exposed to it then you're reabsorbed into his being, if you're left alive long enough you'll start to mutate to something that's a vassal of his power. There's no way to stay regular after coming into contact with yhwach

  リルガが『自分はユーハバッハの傑作』だと言ってた意味が、やっと分かった気がする。ユーハバッハが今の聖文字(シュリフト)持ちたちを生み出す方法を洗練させる過程で、聖文字が発現するまで何度も試作を重ねてたってことなんだな

  I think I finally understand Lillie's claim that he is Yhwach's masterpiece. When Yhwach refined his soul distribution to have the sternritters we know today. He had to test the method until the Schrifts emerged.

  俺は前から思ってたんだけど、『トロンペット』はリルガ専用の能力じゃなくて（聖典には7つあるわけだし）、滅却師なら誰でも（他の6人でも）到達しうる究極奥義的なものなんじゃないか

  Have always theorised myself that Trompette isn’t an ability necessarily exclusive to Lille (as there are 7 in the bible), and such may be the ultimate attack that a quincy (or 6 other quinces) can learn/ achieve.

  雨竜の次に潜在能力が高かったのはリルガだったんだろうな、ユーハバッハが霊力を分け与えた24人の滅却師の中でも。大きく化けるか小さく終わるかは本人次第で、滅却師の王はただチャンスを与えただけなんだ

  After Uryu, Lillie must’ve had the highest potential out of the Quincies Yhwach shared his powers with. He shared a portion of his reiryoku with 24 Quincy. Whether they had it in them for a big or small change was entirely their deal. The Quincy king gave them a chance to improve

  もうこの際、滅却師の親衛隊を『普通』呼ばわりするのはやめた方がいいと思う。一番『普通』枠のアスキンでさえユーハバッハに『選ばれし者』で、しかも4人の親衛隊の中で一番長生きした上に『何をされても死ななかった』って気になる話まである。こいつらは比喩的に、そして時には文字通り、新たな霊王の大天使なんだよ

  at this point, i think people should just give up calling the quincy royal guard 'normal' in any sense. even askin the most normal of the bunch was still a 'chosen one' of yhwach and he lasted the longest of any of the main 4 guards and also had that tantilising lore line about whatever they did to him he "just wouldn't die". These guys are figuratively and in some cases here, literally the arch angels of the new soul king.

  18:51 Uryu canonically is immune to Auswählen - which is the only reason he survived the Auswählen that killed his mother with his powers intact. Based on a previous SBS, he is also immune to Hollow Reiatsu poisoning, which is why he didn't die to hollfication despite his injuries in Hueco Mundo. Both reasons why he was made Ywachs Heir. So he already has some unique property long before the Schrift and getting a piece of Ywachs soul. There is a decent chance he might become like Ywach. A new ancestor for the Quincy race.
