"Far higher tolerance to nicotine, alcohol, and hallucinogens than humans yet they grow addicted much faster." Sounds to me that they are less tolerant.

薬物における“耐性”は「効きにくくなる」って意味だぞ。耐性が上がるほど、同じ効果を得るのに多く摂らなきゃいけなくなる
Tolerance in the context of drugs means they're less effective. The more tolerant you are, the more you need to take to feel the effects

実際、耐性がどんどん上がるのが依存が加速する要因の一つなんだ。この猫たちはたぶん適応が早すぎて、触れた薬物にほぼ即座に依存しちゃうんだろうな
Actually, increasing levels of tolerance is part of what make addicts spiral. They probably adapt too quickly causing them become almost instantly dependent on any drug they touch.

正直、差別描写が『進撃の巨人』のエルディア人とマーレ人ほど酷くなくて助かる。ちなみに俺の友達にチェーンスモーカーがいるんだが、長時間の勤務中は一本吸いたい衝動を抑えるのが本当に大変らしい
Honestly I'm just glad the racism isn't as bad as those in Attack on Titans especially with Eldians and Marleyans. On the second hand I have a friend who is a chainsmoker and he does find it very difficult to suppress the urge to take a stick of smoke especially on long office hours.

『You Gotta Be Kitten Me』ってウェブトゥーンを調べてみ。真逆のシナリオで、世界中の猫が猫娘・猫男になって人間界で大人気になる。セレブもいればブランド持ちのインフルもいるし、自分の会社を経営してる奴もいる。この作品の要素を全部“良い方向”にした感じ。ただ全部読むなら警告な、グロい絵か、虫か、ホラーが苦手なら見ないほうがいい章が一つある…うっ、フラッシュバックしてきた
Y'all need to look up the webtoon You Gotta Be Kitten Me. It's the exact opposite scenario. All the cats around the world turned into Cat Girls and Cat Guys and they're a huge hit with the human population. Some are celebrities, some are influencers with their own brand name products. Some own their own businesses. Take everything about this series and make it good. Btw if you read the whole series fair warning...there's one chapter you're not gonna like if you're not into disturbing artwork. Or insects. Or just horror. Oh God I'm having flashbacks.

これ全部、原作漫画で描かれてるの？アニメは今まだ1話しかなくて、差別も社会構造も猫人間の生態も何も語ってなかったんだけど
Are all those things described in the manga ? Because the anime has only 1 episode at this moment and it didn t say anything about discrimination, social dynamics or the anathomy of the cat people.
