Prime Videoが『攻殻機動隊 THE GHOST IN THE SHELL』新作アニメの予告編を公開。原作・士郎正宗のデザインに忠実な草薙素子と、新時代のサイバーパンクを思わせる映像・音楽に、海外の長年のファンが沸いた。コメント欄は、ようやく“原作通り”の少佐が拝めることへの感激、士郎正宗という作家への敬意、そして予告の劇伴が菅野よう子『Rise』の系譜を思わせる→今は亡きOriga、そして素子の声・田中敦子さんへの追悼、という静かな三本柱で進行。『SAC_2045』も良かったがこの方向性はさらに良い、という比較や、同じ士郎作品『アップルシード』もこの品質で観たいという声も。最後は、20年以上追ってきた者の万感の一言で締まる。

  • すごい、このシリーズが楽しみで仕方ない。アートスタイルが綺麗だ。攻殻の新作って久しぶりだし。『SAC_2045』も良かったけど、この方向性はずっと良さそう

    Incredible, I am beyond excited for this series. The art style is beautiful. And it's been a while since we've had anything gits. 2045 was good. But this direction looks alot better.

  • 士郎正宗が天才クリエイターだからな。ビジュアル（美女もメカも！）が凄いだけじゃなく、物語作りも別格。あの“ギャグ寄り”の漫画ですら根は真面目で、最初の話で救われた子供たちもその後ちゃんと苦労してる

    because Masamune Shirow is a brilliant creator. Not only is he an amazing visual artist (all the hot girls AND the technical hardware!) but also his storytelling is exceptional. Even in the "funny" manga things are serious. The saved children in the first story still have to work hard.

    The opening note of the OP(?) sounds very much like Rise by Yoko Kanno as well. RIP Origa. RIP Atsuko Tanaka.
