『薬屋のひとりごと』第2期の最終盤（第24話）で、壬氏と猫猫がついに“いい雰囲気”になりかけるも何度も邪魔される場面が、海外で大バズりした。最大の笑いどころは「なんで俺たちいつも邪魔されるんだ！？」と床に崩れ落ちる壬氏への激しい共感。そして本来は気難しいはずのやり手婆が、壬氏（＝月の君）が猫猫に会いに来た途端に札束の匂いを嗅ぎつけ、満面の笑みで“公認”に転じる変わり身の速さに海外ニキ大喜び。「婆はカップリングの船を見た」「いや同じ旗を掲げた船団だ」の応酬、原作(ライトノベル)では壬氏が邪魔した子供に「縛り首にすべきだった」と漏らすほど絶望していたという小ネタ、そして板挟みの高順の“やれやれ”顔まで拾われた。最後は、そのやり手婆の本音を的確に言い当てた海外ニキの一言で締まる。

やり手婆は、猫猫が毒に執着するのと同じくらい金に執着してる。壬氏が何者かは正確には知らなくても、長年の“男を見る目”の研究で、こいつが相当な資産家だと見抜けるんだ

原作ライトノベルでは壬氏、（少なくとも英訳版では）邪魔したあの子供を「縛り首にすべきだった」って実際に漏らしてる😂 邪魔されてそれだけ絶望してたってこと
In the LN novel Jinshi actually says (at least in the English translation) that he should have sent him (the little boy) to the gallows 😂 that’s how devastated he was with the interruption
