『ワンパンマン』第3期・第2弾PV（VIZ Media）で、海外の作画論争がさらに過熱した。『One Punch Manじゃなくて、One Frame Man・PNGマン・パワポマン・スライドショーマン・フィルターマンが来た』の大喜利、『予算どこ行った＝“7つの大罪ドル”が溶けた』のネタが伸びる。ブルーロックS2の“Frame Lock”を引き合いに『One Frame Manが参戦した』『ブルーロック民として言うが、この手のPVは90%スライドショー確定』とジャンルを超えた既視感も。1期の別格さへの郷愁が募る一方、擁護も無視できない――『これはティザーで最高のコマを出しただけ』『村田版の絵なら静止画でも他の8割のアニメより上』『制作陣の判断の問題で、スタジオを責められない』『1話は溜め、2話から本番』。最後は、自嘲まじりに“コーピウム（現実逃避）が過去最高潮、頼むから頼む”と祈る海外ニキで締まる。

ブルーロック民として言う…この手のゲームは経験済みだ。PVに動く作画やアクションがほぼ無いなら、シーズンの90%は“ワンスライドショーマン”になると思って間違いない。
As a blue lock fan...I've played these games before. If the trailer they give you barely has any moving animation or action scenes, best believe you're going to get One Slideshow Man for 90% of the season.

なあ…マッドハウス級の芸術性は期待してないよ。でも“アニメ”シリーズなんだから、せめて少しは“動き”が欲しいんだ。
Dude... I don't expect Madhouse's level of artistry, but I would like at least some animation in my animated series.

正直、ここでは悪口として成立しないけどな。だって仮に着色した漫画のコマだけだったとしても、村田の作画がヤバすぎるから、他の8割のアニメより上だしw
Doesn't apply here as an insult tbf. Because even if it was just colored manga panels, it would still be better than 80% of anime considering how insane Murata's panels are lol.

1話はただの溜めだってことを忘れずに。 2話以降で、ようやく本当の戦闘が見られる。
Episode 1 is just buildup, keep that in mind. Episode 2 and up is when we can really see the fights.
