  • 実のところ、チンギス・ハンは1219年の秋のクリルタイ（会議）でオゴデイを後継に指名している。本編開始の2年前だ。オゴデイが選ばれた本当の理由はこう。 もともとチンギスはジョチに継がせるつもりだった。だがチャガタイと有力者たちが猛反対し、内戦を避けるために引っ込めた（ジョチが1229年のクリルタイにいないのは、父より先に亡くなっていたから）。 チャガタイは法（ヤサ）に固執しすぎて外交的な柔軟性を欠くという理由で除外。 トルイは若すぎた。実際の史実のトルイはアニメの描写と違ってかなり頭が切れて計算高い男だったが、それでも選ばれなかった。 対してオゴデイは統率力・対人感覚・外交手腕がずば抜けていて、帝国をひとつにまとめておくには最適の君主だった

Here is the real reason why Ogedei was chosen: Originally, Genghis Khan intended to pass the throne to Jochi. However, Chagatai and several high-ranking nobles fiercely opposed this, so he backed down to prevent a civil war. (Jochi wasn't at the 1229 Khuruldai because he had already passed away before his father). As for Chagatai, he was ruled out because he was too rigidly obsessed with the law (Yassa) and lacked diplomatic flexibility. Tolui was considered too young, and despite being incredibly smart and cautious in his strategy (unlike hisdepiction in the anime, the historical Tolui was highly intelligent and calculated), he wasn't chosen. In contrast, Ogedei was chosen because he possessed exceptional leadership, high emotional intelligence, and great diplomatic skills, making him the perfect ruler to keep the empire united.

Genghis Khan invited the old man Qiu Chuji (Master Changchun) as an honored guest and asked him for the secret of immortality, Qiu honestly admitted he was not immortal and answered, "There are only ways of nourishing life, but no elixir for obtaining immortality." He also offered the Khan some valuable wisdom. As a result, instead of being punished for being a "fake immortal," Qiu was treated with the utmost respect.

The animal should also be healthy and not put in a stressful situation Haram meat is either meat ritualisticsally sacrificed for another religion, or generally pig, carrion, human flesh and blood So the way the mongols were slauthering animals is pretty much opposite to what a muslim would do. We see Fatima trying to keep her tradition and make it halal by saying Bismillah and cleaning the meat from the blood While these are all haram aliments, a muslim isn't committing a sin if they have to eat them to survive though

    I guess you're right. When we eat fish, like sashimi, we don't want the meat to have a bloody taste. Beyond just preserving freshness and texture, that is why we perform 'Ikejime.'     We muslim don't eat pork simply because god said so, is part of our faith to god. Some says because it's dirty, but hey in modern tech we can clean pork meat. we just simply avoid because god forbid it, because we still don't know the real reason why god forbid us to eat pork. in Qur'an it said pork unclean, what unlcean here really mean? We muslim still learn, we human, sometimes we make mistake to interprete. So the safest thing to said why muslim don't eat pork or drink alcohol is because god forbid it.

  • 豚についてだけど、あいつら自分の糞まで何でも食うからハラームなんだ。あんたの言うとおり処理すれば洗浄はできる。でも豚は本質的に汚いから、どんな洗浄工程を通してもハラームのままだよ

    so about pork, its haram because they eat everything include their own sh*t, thats why its haram and as u said yes it can be cleaned through process but its still haram because the pig is essentially dirty, no matter the cleaning process

    You're confusing the reasoning people made with the command and the inherent reason of the command itself, which is not explained further. Pork is forbidden in Islam simply because Allah has forbid it. As for pigs being dirty or filled with parasites, those are wisdoms that align with Islam's teaching, but it is not exactly the reason why Allah has made it forbidden. If a halal food is dirty, that doesn't make it haram, but scholars of the religion would still advise you to not eat it. Because cleanliness is part of the religion's principle.

  • 素手の指で大動脈を切って羊を屠ったあと、血は胸腔に溜まり、羊が絶命してから掬い出される。素人が思うように腐るまで放置されるわけじゃない。内臓も血も腸も、屠ったあとすぐ集めて調理する。肉は切り分けて風にさらし、日持ちさせる。モンゴルは湿度が高くて暑いんじゃなく、乾燥していて極寒だということを忘れないでほしい。風干し（ボルツ作り）、熟成、燻製、冬の寒さでの冷凍が保存法だ。都会の人間と比べると、遊牧民にとって赤身肉はもっと頻繁に、もっと新鮮な状態で食べるもの。現代でいう“ファーム・トゥ・テーブル”や自宅の鶏小屋、漁師町の感覚に近い。 血への忌避感は分かる。面白いもので、非ムスリムの自分から見ても、不衛生だと教わって育ったものを誰かが珍味として扱っていたら奇妙に映るはずだ。血が噴き出さない、毛皮を汚さない、大地を汚さない、狼を寄せつけない――それもモンゴルであの屠り方が好まれる理由だ。結局のところ、他の文化に心を開いて、それぞれの環境で人が生き延びるための合理性として理解しようとすること。それがこの作品の美しさなんだと思う

    After the slaughtering the sheep by cutting the aorta with a bare finger, the blood is pooled in the chest cavity and scooped out after the sheep dies, contrary to being left to rot as some lay people might assume. The organs, blood and intestines are collected and cooked immediately after the butchering. The meat is cut and aired out to preserve the meat for longer. Remember Mongolia is arid and frigid, not humid and hot. Wind-drying (making 'borts'), aging, smoking, or freezing in the cold winter are methods of preserving meat for longer. Compared to city folks, for nomadic pastoralists, red meat is consumed more frequently and freshly, similar to modern 'farm to table' or personal chicken coop or coastal fishing town. I understand the aversion to blood. Funnily enough, as a non-Muslim, I can see how bizarre it could be if someone regarded "some other bodily fluid" as a delicacy when I'm taught how unhygienic it is growing up. Blood not gushing out, staining fur, soiling earth, and not attracting wolves are also reasons why it is more preferable, non-gory way of butchering in Mongolia. In the end, having an open mind to other cultures, and trying to understand their rationality as way of human survival in their respective environment is a beauty of this show.
