So happy my No. 1 pick won!! According to the character designer's own posts on X, even director Yoshiyuki Tomino and people at Sunrise praised it. Just top-level in every way. Everyone else has already covered the big stuff, so here's something less talked about: the comedy never breaks the flow or the mood, it just slots in naturally. In the middle of a heavy story it's like a soft breeze — it lightens things up and makes you love the characters even more. Sitara and Lady Dregene were both so charming. The pacing and direction wrapped this cour up cleanly while still building huge anticipation for what's next. Please, season 2! I'll buy the Blu-rays and the source material to show my support (still deciding whether to buy just the adapted volumes or the whole series so far).

1位大好きな作品だから嬉しい！！ 富野監督やサンライズの方々にも褒めてもらったとキャラデザの吉田さんがXで呟いていました♪ とにかく全てにおいて最高レベル。皆様のコメントで素晴らしさは述べられているので触れられていない所をあげるとすると…ギャグ描写が話の流れを遮ることなく雰囲気を壊すでなく、自然に入っているのが良かったです。重厚な物語の中ふっと柔らかな風が吹いて心が軽くなる感じ。キャラに親近感や愛おしさを覚える絶妙な塩梅のギャグテイスト。シタラもドレゲネ様も可愛かった〜 続く物語への期待を最大限に高めつつ今期分だけでも綺麗に幕を閉じている構成・演出も本当に素晴らしかったです。2期希望！熱烈待望！！円盤と原作購入して応援します♪(原作はアニメ化されてる巻までにするか既刊全巻か迷い中です〜😅)

This show gives you both the realistic side of someone who's already been through "drawing manga" — the teacher — and the excitement of the high schoolers about to take it on for the first time. Both sides hit you emotionally.

これは、「マンガを描く」という、既に通った人物（教師）のリアルな面と、これから挑んでいく若者達（高校生）のワクワク感の両方を見せられて、 感情が揺さぶられる作品だと思う。

Of the last year's shows, Draw This, Then Die! and Ruri no Houseki are unbelievably good at depicting obsession — the fixation people have on the thing they love. I like gemstones as monetary value but have zero interest in stones themselves, and I love reading manga but have no interest in drawing it. And even I end up understanding what's great about gems and about manga. These authors are amazing.

ここ一年の作品だとこれ描いて死ねとか瑠璃の宝石とか、好きな物に対する執着やら執念の描写が本当上手い。自分は金銭的な価値としての宝石は好きだけど宝石そのものに興味はなく、漫画を読むのは好きだけど漫画を描くことに興味はありません。そんな私でも宝石や漫画の良さを理解してしまうんだから作者すごいなーって

Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia is too good. With Mushoku Tensei, Rudeus being creepy is old news at this point; what I love is the little sister using the sacred object to blackmail him. The World Is Dancing was a hopeless mismatch for me. No matter how many times the fans tell me "it's not the kind of show where you're meant to relate to the protagonist," a protagonist I find that unpleasant shows up every single episode, so I can't get interested in the story…

Teared up a little in episode 1, a little in episode 2, a little in episode 3 too. It's not like I've had a similar experience or ever poured that kind of passion into something myself — I just love that every episode, someone works up the courage to take one more step forward.

1話でちょっと泣けて、2話もちょっと泣けて、3話でもちょっと泣けた 別に似たような経験があるとか、情熱を傾けてたからとか、そういうわけじゃないんだけど、毎回勇気を持って1歩踏み出すところがいいんだよ

With "Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia," the story and the characters are great, but the direction is on another level. While Sitara couldn't understand Mongolian, episodes 1–2 gave it to us dubbed; from episode 3, once she understands and can speak it, it's in Japanese — the switch point is presented that clearly. The passage of time isn't tracked only through Sitara either; they weave in things like a woman who couldn't adapt to Mongol life gradually settling in. The craft is genuinely fine-grained. It makes you feel like you're watching a taiga drama.

「天幕のジャードゥーガル」はストーリーの面白さやキャラクターの魅力もさることながら演出が群を抜いて素晴らしいです。 モンゴル語についてシタラが言葉を理解できないでいた1～2話は吹き替え、理解・話せるようになった3話以降は日本語と分岐点がわかりやすく提示されていました。 また、時間の流れもシタラのみではなく、モンゴルの生活に馴染めなかった女性が次第に慣れていく描写などを交えて表現されていて本当に芸が細かいです。 まるで大河ドラマを観ているかのような気分にさせられます。

I've been crying since episode 1 too. Even if it's a manga that flopped and got cancelled — if someone came up to you in tears saying "this book changed my life," as the author, I'd absolutely lose it.

Nobody around me was watching Jaadugar, and when I recommended it people always said "the art style..." and passed — so seeing this result makes me really happy!

天幕のジャードゥーガル、自分の周りは観てないし勧めても「絵が…」とダメだったのに、この結果は凄く嬉しいです！

People keep misreading this, but it's less that Dara-san killed the YouTuber and more that the YouTuber was already cursed, and if he'd been left like that the curse would have spread everywhere and killed a lot of people — so he got collected before that happened.

なんか勘違いされがちだけどダラさんがYouTuberを殺したというより、YouTuberが呪いにかかってあのまま放置すると呪いをあちこちにばら撒いて大量に死者が出ちゃうからそうなる前に回収したって感じ
