モンゴル人だけど、この漫画が本当に大好きなんだ。俺が思うに、モンゴルの歴史と文化をここまで正確に、しかも分かりやすく描こうとした最初期の漫画のひとつだよ。もちろん日本人作家が描いてる以上、細かい間違いはちょいちょいある。でもそれでいい。マジで名作だ。
As a Mongolian, I really love this manga. In my opinion, it’s one of the first manga that genuinely tries to portray Mongolian history and culture as accurately and accessibly as possible. Of course, since it was created by a Japanese author, there are some minor inaccuracies here and there—but that’s okay. It’s truly a great manga.

And I really enjoy how they portray Muslims , Persians as well

俺はモンゴル人だ。日本とアニメが大好き。まさかモンゴルを題材にしたアニメが出るなんて、生きてる間に想像もしなかった。自分たちの文化と歴史がここまで認められて、本当に嬉しい。しかも絵が美しい。
I'm mongolian. I love japan and anime. Never in my live did I imagine there would be anime about mongol. I'm just so happy that our culture and history history is recognized this much. And it looks gorgeous.

これめちゃくちゃ良さそう、特にビジュアルが。すごく楽しみだ。「ジャードゥーガル」って俺の言語で「魔術師」って意味なんだよ。
This looks really good especially the visuals, im really excited for this. The word "Jaadugar" means Magician in my langauge

The Mongol Empire under Genghis Khan's sons and grandsons was not actually as united as we knew of them until the ascension of Kublai Khan as the first foreign emperor of China.

原作漫画も傑作だけど、アニメもとんでもなく素晴らしい。アニメーションってこうあるべきだよな。派手なバトルシーンばかりが持て囃される今の流れが好きじゃない身としては、こういう作品がもっと増えてほしい。
The manga is excellent, but the anime is incredible too. This is what animation should truly be like. As someone who isn’t a fan of the current trend where flashy battle scenes get all the hype and praise, I really hope we see more works like this.

中世のイスラム・ペルシャ・モンゴルの歴史に興味があるなら、このシリーズはドンピシャだ。フリーレン（ファンタジー要素を抜いたやつ）と薬屋のひとりごとを混ぜたような感じ。要するに、素晴らしくて切ない物語だよ。
If you're interested in Islamic, Persian, and Mongolian history of the Middle Ages, this series is gonna be your thing. It's like a mesh of Frieren (without the fantasy stuff) and Apothecary Diaries. In short, it is an awesome and sad story.

個人的には、歴史フィクションの8割が舞台にするお馴染みのヨーロッパ中世より、こういう文化のほうがずっと面白い。
For me these cultures are far more interesting than the common European medieval culture where 80% of historical fictions take place

庭園、噴水、建築のカットが最高。もちろんニカーブを着た脇役たちも。原作がどこまで正確かは知らないけど、中世史がアニメ化されるってだけで嬉しい。
I love the shots of the gardens, fountains, architecture, etc. and ofc the side characters in niqabs. I don't know how accurate the manga is but I'm glad medieval history is getting adapted anyway.
